The flagship HUAWEI MatePad Pro tablet and HUAWEI MatePad 11 are the first range of tablets from Huawei to run on HarmonyOS. These new tablets seek to provide a more efficient way for interaction, including quicker access to apps, PC-tablet multi-screen collaboration as well as multi-device interaction.
First tablets to be powered by HarmonyOS
The tablets offers a range of tools designed to help users maximise productivity. For example, on the new HarmonyOS Home screen, users can find their most frequently used and recently used apps located in the Bottom Dock for easy access.
New Service Widgets display real-time information, and allow users to quickly and conveniently access certain app features without launching the apps. These widgets can be placed anywhere and are fully customisable, allowing users to personalise their devices.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro designed for professionals
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro is designed to be a productivity companion. It comes equipped with a 10.8-inch 16:10 ultra-wide 2K HUAWEI FullView Display housed in an ultra slim bezel measuring just 4.9mm thin.
It features a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio afor an immersive multimedia experience. The display works together with the powerful, Harman Kardon-tuned quad-speaker sound system for multimedia experiences. The HUAWEI MatePad Pro supports Histen 7.0, which enables it to virtualise 3D surround sound.
HarmonyOS enables the tablet to support Multi-screen Collaboration between the tablet and a PC through three different modes – Mirror Mode, Extend Mode and Collaborate Mode.
The tablet comes with TUV Rheinland Labs certification that confirms users are exposed to minimal harmful blue light when using the tablet. HUAWEI MatePad 11 empowers content creators
The HUAWEI MatePad 11 is the first-ever Huawei tablet to support a 120 Hz refresh rate.
According to Huawei, this table has a higher refresh rate than their competitors. This means users can immerse themselves in sharper graphics for high frame rate videos and games or scroll through pages effortlessly. It also delivers immersive audio experiences with the quad-channel large-amplitude quad-speaker system.
The tablet also comes with TUV Rheinland Labs minimal blue light exposure certification.
Use the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation) with both tablets
The HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Generation) can be used with both the HUAWEI MatePad Pro and MatePad 11. It can supports a range of interaction features such as HUAWEI FreeScript, which transforms handwritten content into machine-encoded text in real time as well as double-tap to switch, Instant Shape, Instant Table and more.
